Shea Properties has completed The Square Cypress, a mixed-use development on more than 13.3 acres in Cypress, California, which is in suburban Orange County. The project includes 251-units in a multifamily component called Acadia Apartments, which is a Shea brand.

Built on the site of a former shopping center once anchored by a Macy’s, the project features two residential buildings and a two-story exterior mall that redefines modern urban living.

Spanning 11 buildings, this development sits on 31 acres and features seven retail and restaurant buildings, two core and shell office buildings and a pavilion. Each retail building features concrete footings, block walls and steel joist structures with precast, brick and EIFS exteriors. Both office buildings are steel and concrete with glass, brick, EIFS and precast exteriors.
