This space was originally a suburban shopping center, converted to office space 1980s. That retrofit was abandoned in the late 1990s and the site was unoccupied for 17 years while various efforts to redevelop were considered. The project includes 125,000 SF of key lab and lab support areas – shop, UX, automotive support and shop, reliability (dust, corrosion, altitude, moisture, pressurization), failure analysis, electronics dry-lab, electronics cleanroom wet-lab, life sciences wet-lab, machine shop, and general lab areas for future “moon shots”. Architectural and interior design for lab and lab support areas and consultant coordination services.
