An expansion and renovation of an existing restaurant that highlights iconic architecture and elevates the site to a quality event space. The design features retractable roofs and a butt-glazed frame under the concrete roof to weatherproof the space and protect from rain. This innovative event space and restaurant respects the history and legacy of the building, and surrounding area in the Arts District. Located within the Festival of Arts, Terra’s modern design updates invigorate and revitalize the space, while providing a gathering place that continues the sense of community and artistic freedom that has been a mainstay of this unique culinary experience.
