“Design is an integral part of my life, influencing the way I perceive and interact with my environment.”
Having grown up in Japan, Minami journeyed to the US for her college education, bringing with her a cultural perspective that embraces trends while holding tradition in high regard. For Minami, becoming an architectural designer was a natural fit, allowing her to present designs that are genuine, enduring, and tell meaningful stories. With a focus on commercial design and master planning, she oversees every stage of the design process, ensuring a unified integration of aesthetics and functionality.
Minami’s approach is grounded in the belief that the spaces we inhabit shape the overall experience of everyday life. Her work reflects a harmonious blend of cultural influences and a commitment to creating designs that stand the test of time, narrating stories through architectural expression. She has contributed to several outstanding AO retail and mixed-use projects including 2nd & PCH in Long Beach, the Carson Country Mart, Chandler Fashion Center in Arizona, the master plan at Las Colinas Quarter in Irving, Texas, and The Cliff in Henderson, Nevada.
