This mid-century modern drive-thru coffee shop was built to complement the iconic Fullerton Towers. The building is designed with decorative fin-like columns, a large oval-shaped covered patio, and the use of exposed CMU blocks. The pattern of these special CMU blocks creates a dynamic shadow pattern on the wall that changes throughout the day. Palm trees surround the building and even rise through the void in the outdoor canopy to create a connection to the sky. The careful use of outdoor lighting creates an inviting evening atmosphere.
