This renovation and relocation project was initiated to transfer a testing facility from Brea, CA to Anaheim, CA, and presented the unique challenge of providing facilities for two of our client’s wholly-owned subsidiaries within one pre-existing warehouse space. A key objective was to reduce and mitigate sound transmission within the testing locations to a required 30 dba. To achieve this, AO designed nine isolated Hoist- and-Winch parts testing rooms in the existing high bay warehouse that effectively reduced the sound transmission as required. The project also included the construction of manufacturing assembly areas and renovations of the existing office space for Hoist-and-Winch manufacturing staff.
